<p>In 2022, I had the privilege of catching up with Vended after their performance with Code Orange in Baltimore. You may notice that something is a little off about this interview. That’d be the fact that I’m not in a bikini! Long story short, I wasn’t really sure if the interview was happening, but planned for it still, and thought I packed everything. I didn’t. Luckily, I rode my bike that day and had my bicycle bibs on, so it kinda counts!</p>
<p>One of my favorite things about this interview is that it takes place in the alley behind Baltimore Soundstage, a place full of some of the most colorful characters. In fact we have a guest appearance from an individual.</p>
<p>At one point, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cole_espeland/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Cole Espeland</a> takes over the microphone and camera, and at that point things become ‘Cole TV’. A first for Mankini TV for sure, but an event that played out way better than anyone thought it would have.</p>

<p>All in all, this was an extremely fun, lighthearted, joyous interview. Given the heaviness of the band, it’s not an interview some may have thought would be so comedic. It’s definitely one of my favorites.</p>
